Celebrate St. Francis Day with the Blessing of the Animals

The Blessing of the Animals is an experience that we love to share with each other, and with ALL our special companions:   furry, wiggly, cute, chirpy, and slinky!   This year we will return to the Outdoor Chapel at St. Francis Episcopal Church to celebrate the connection we share with the creatures that add meaning to our lives, where they will receive a special blessing. .

Joining us this year will be APAC (Association for a Pet Adoption Center).  There will be some pets who are looking for homes, and we are invited to bring pet food, treats, collars, etc. to donate to the center for their efforts in caring for animals as they wait for their “forever” homes.

Please bring pets, friends, or just yourself as we enjoy this special experience on Saturday, October 2 at 9:30 AM at St. Francis Episcopal Church, 5001 Hickory Road, Temple, Tx.  

*Again this year we will have special “Doggie Treats” (healthy and scrumptious) courtesy of our Treat Creator Michele Weller.
